I. The mold of the world is created and rooted through the High Lord's song
a. The five Avatars are sent to create and enrich the world.
i. Each is given dominion over one power of the world
b. The Grove of Light is the first created through the combined efforts of the Avatars
II .After countless years of shaping the world the council of powers is held within the Grove of Light and the naming
of the Avatars occurs
i. Holder of High Lord's will and of the keys of spirit- Anya
ii. Second only in beauty, tamer of fire and shadow- Ruin (later named Golgoriath)
iii. Keeper of the winds and the reins of storm- Sulkas
iv. Bestower of rain, matriarch of water- Alure
v. Grower of seeds and carver of stone- Ardan
III. Ruin's betrayal at the council. The other 4 avatars flee from the first world.
a. First races are born amidst the First War. These races are
i. Dragons
ii. Phoenix
iii. Elves
b. First war ends with the perversion of dragons and enslavement of most of the elves.
i.A scattered few elven houses find safe havens within the secret gardens of the avatars.
ii. Avatars are defeated and retreat back to the western stronghold.
IV. Long years of torment begin and the younger races are born. This is marked as the Age of Torment.
a. Valandau, one of the eldest dragons, is made Golgoriath's second
V. Avatars begin bringing back the races. Most will not or do not make it. This sparks the War of Freedom
a. This ends in the Four Great trees and the sundering of the created world.
i. Two continents form- East and West
ii. Elder races are scattered as the younger races take root
b. Golgoriath's death is bound by the trees' powers
c. Anya dies soon after the tainted tree of spirit takes root
d. Valandau flees east, beyond the Forbidden Bluffs
VI. 100 years of peace ensue and the First era ends with the avatars' death
a. Within the this time two brotherhoods are granted control of the created world. The eastern continent is split in
two
i. North- Brotherhood of the Dragon
ii. South- Brotherhood of the Phoenix
b. Both brotherhoods swear an oath to protect the secrets of the Avatars
c. Long years of peace ensue
